WAN Design Services
Independent of a carrier, Comms-Online will analyse and evaluate your bandwidth requirements whether they are ISDN, ADSL, Leased Lines, MPLS, or Wireless for a WAN solution or for SME and Enterprise Networks. WAN solutions provided in the area of Inter Office Connectivity include all solutions from ad hoc to permanent connections.

WAN Optimisation - Increasing your throughput by up to 10 times
Comms-Online are a premier solutions partner of the Peribit Network’s - Molecular Sequence Reduction technology, which installed as a two port Ethernet switch on the LAN side of the WAN router to eliminate repetitions in WAN-destined traffic before it reaches the edge router. MSR then reassembles the data at the destination site. Point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and fully meshed configurations are supported. We have successfully deployed this technology for our customers increasing their throughput by seven times.

Remote Access Solutions
Remote Access Solutions (RAS) can range from a casual dial up to collect e-mail, to a “distributed office” solution. RAS solutions provided by Comms-Online can broadly be classified as either Roving or Fixed. A Roving RAS solution would typically be used for a sales team who may be on the road for the majority of the day, while a Fixed RAS solution would generally be used for Tele-workers or for very small branch offices.

Mobility Solutions
